At DOSE of ROSE, our mission goes beyond creating beautiful cakes—we are dedicated to uplifting women and equipping them with the tools they need to thrive. This commitment is deeply personal for me, rooted in my own family's history.
My mother was born in Korea during a time of great upheaval—around the liberation from Japanese colonization and before the Korean War. She faced immense hardship and, despite being a bright and clever woman, never had access to education. I often wonder how different her life, and ours, might have been if she had been given the opportunities that so many take for granted. Without that foundation, she couldn’t support us academically or emotionally in the ways she might have wanted to.
These experiences shaped my belief that, if women are empowered with education, resources, and support, they can transform not only their own lives but also the lives of those around them. This is why, through DOSE of ROSE, I am passionate about using my skills to teach other women the art of cake decoration, helping them gain independence, build businesses, and pursue their dreams.
But it doesn’t stop there. We are committed to giving back by donating a portion of our profits to charities that support disadvantaged and marginalized women, empowering them to create brighter futures. By contributing to their growth and opportunities, we hope to create ripples of change that extend far beyond our cakes, helping to build a future where every woman can reach her full potential.
